Yet another busy week!

This week we covered the following work:

· Wednesday, 9 March – Sports Day practice; please ensure that your child wears closed shoes that they can run in as we will be going to the track. Please ensure that your child has a water bottle.

Dictation:

Mrs. Lines gave me an envelope with nine dimes in it and a flash light. I was glad and giggled.

As part of our class routine, we have a healthy snack break at 10:15 am daily. Please help to promote good eating habits by providing your child healthy snacks such as fresh fruit or vegetables, crackers, cheese, seaweed snacks, sandwiches, or granola bars.

I have added Mr Harris blog address to the “useful links” in the top right hand corner of this blog. On Mr Harris blog your child will be able to access the websites that they use during computer class.

Week 2

Dear Parents,

It has been a busy week! On Monday we celebrated Valentines Day and we were visited by Mr. Morris Gleitzman. And on Thursday we celebrated Lantern Festival.

Semester 2 Week 1

Dear Parents,

Welcome back! I hope that you all had a great time with family and friends and that you feel refreshed and ready for the Second Semester.

· We compared a town, city, suburb and neighborhood

· We looked at how a bridge can help a city as well as what transport goes over and under a bridge.
