Dear Parents,

Welcome back! I hope that you all had a great time with family and friends and that you feel refreshed and ready for the Second Semester.

· We compared a town, city, suburb and neighborhood

· We looked at how a bridge can help a city as well as what transport goes over and under a bridge.

Important Dates for next week

· Monday, 14 February – Valentines Day, Please dress your child in Red, pink or white.

· Monday, 14 February – Morris Gleitzman will be visiting us

· Wednesday, 16 February – Sports Day practice, please ensure that your child wears closed shoes that they can run in as we will be going to the track. Please ensure that your child has a water bottle.

· Thursday 17 February – Lantern Festival

· Friday, 18 February – Maths Chapter 9 Test
