Dear Parents,

With just 30 days left of school, the year is quickly coming to an end!

FIELD TRIP
Last Friday we enjoyed the day at the Science Museum. This is what some of the children had to say about the day:

What did you learn”
“I learned that space is very beautiful.”
“I learned that Mars is a red planet in the Solar System”

What did you like?
“I like to see the moving dinosaurs.”
“I liked the I-Max move that we watched.”
“I liked the movie, it was very interesting.”
“I liked seeing the tornado””

What did you not like?
“The stay was too short”
“I did not like the ride to Taichung, it was too long.”
“I didn’t like nothing”
“”One day trip is not enough. I want to go more times.”
“I wanted to watch a movie about dinosaurs”
“I didn’t like too hear the dinosaur’s voices”

SPORTS DAY
On Wednesday we enjoyed a fun day in the sun on the sports track. I would like to thank those who took the time to spend your afternoon with us. I am certain that your children had a wonderful day. Well done to each child that won their race, as well as the Blue team who won the day.

IOWA TESTS
A few reminders for the Iowa test:
1. Iowa testing will begin on 9 May and continue all week.
2. Students must be unpacked and at their desks by 8:30. Students that arrive late will be sent to the library to wait until the class has finished the section. Missed sections of Iowa cannot be taken at another time.
3. Please, make sure that your child has a healthy breakfast to provide them with the energy they will need to give their best effort on Iowa. Also, make sure your child has a healthy snack.
4. The Iowa test can be very tiring for students, so students will receive less homework this week.
5. Make sure your child has an early bedtime this week.

Regards,
Robyn Wood
