Holiday Class Parties

Dear Parents,

Each year, during the school year, we celebrate different holidays with a class party. Below is a list of the holidays that we will be celebrating. I would like to ask parents to sign up for 2 holidays and then I will send a confirmation email to let you know which holiday parties I have assigned to you. Please put #1 for your first choice and #2 for your second choice and #3 for your third choice. (I will only assign you to 2 parties as previously mentioned.)

For the parties you are assigned to, I would like to ask you to please bring in a special snack, treat, game or craft of your choice. No set expectations, just whatever you can and are willing to do. :-) It will all be extra and appreciated by all. Please remember that even if you are not helping with these parties, you are ALWAYS welcome to join in the fun!

Our Holiday Parties are:

____Halloween/Fancy Dress Day (Wednesday, 27 October)

____Thanksgiving (Thursday, 25 November) Your entire family is welcome to join us for lunch. We will all share a dish and have a wonderful Fall Harvest Festival/ American Thanksgiving together. (The team that gets this holiday will help to organize the food items and help set it up on the day.) :-)

____Christmas (Thursday, 16 December) Gift sharing time

____Chinese New Year (Thursday, 27 January)

____Valentine's Day (Monday, 14 February)

____St. Patrick's Day (Thursday, 17 March) All things GREEN

____Easter (Friday, April 22) Easter Egg Hunt

Mother's Day Celebration Tea (Friday, May 6th) We're celebrating YOU, our mothers! We've got this covered so just come and relax! :-) Please just mark the date!

____End of the Year Party (Wednesday, June 22nd) Celebration party! We are moving on to 2nd grade!

Regards

Ms Wood
